Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Thursday had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina, Felipe Sola.

During the telephone conversation, Ministers Mnatsakanyan and Sola referred to the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict zone.

Minister Mnatsakanyan comprehensively presented the large-scale military aggression carried out by Azerbaijan—with the support of Turkey—against the people of Artsakh, and which is accompanied by deliberate targeting of civilians and vital infrastructure and killings of civilians who have ended up under their control.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stressed that stressed that Azerbaijan's actions are threat to the existential security of the people of Artsakh—and which has always been raised by the Armenian parties, and that the need to take steps to address this matter is very urgent.

Both sides underscored the immediate cessation of hostilities and the unconditional fulfillment of the respective commitments that have been assumed.
