In the created situation due to martial law, importance is attached to the concentration of our joint efforts. This is what Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan said during today’s discussion on the draft of the 2021 State Budget held as part of the session of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia.

According to him, Armenia succeeded in ensuring a sustainable macroeconomic environment in 2019 and 2020, which is an unprecedented success, especially during the pandemic and war that was unleashed by Azerbaijan with Turkey’s active support.

Grigoryan also recalled that the revision of the country’s long-term development and sector-specific strategies began in 2018 and corrections were made in sector-specific strategies and the global strategy in 2019.

“It’s clear that the year 2021 is going to be tense for Armenia, but I’m certain that we will be able to have a budget by working together and taking into consideration all the potential risks and challenges,” Grigoryan stressed.
