YEREVAN. – The government of Armenia aims to restore the country's economic growth and increase its potential. The Minister of Finance, Atom Janjughazyan, said this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Monday’s meeting of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.

According to him, in 2021 the amount of funds envisaged for the implementation of capital programs will make 215 billion drams, or 3.2%, of the projected GDP of Armenia.

"We also have an intermediate solution for 2021. A separate appendix has been added to the 2020 budget. It is a list of expenditures—primary capital programs, which as a result were approved by the National Assembly. This method is also planned to be used in the draft budget for 2021, too" the Minister of Finance explained.
