Human Rights Defender of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Artak Beglaryan posted the following on his Facebook page and added images showing details:

Numerous schools and kindergartens of Artsakh have been damaged as a result of the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression, and 100% of children of Artsakh have been deprived of the right to education.

Moreover, out of the 58 kindergartens, 10 (17%) have been damaged, out of 220 schools, 61 (28%) have been damaged.”

On September 27, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan launched a large-scale offensive in Artsakh, targeting also the peaceful population. The Armed Forces of Azerbaijan also targeted the military and civilian infrastructures of Artsakh and Armenia, as a result of which 2 civilians were killed in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, 45 civilians were killed and 141 civilians were wounded in Artsakh.

The shelling by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces also left foreign and local reporters wounded. On September 27, both Armenia and Artsakh declared martial law.

Three humanitarian ceasefires have been declared, but the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have broken them.
