Between 8:30pm and 11:40pm on Sunday, fierce battles took place in the northwestern part of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)-Azerbaijani front line.

The Artsakh Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, in particular, an Azerbaijani platoon attacked two key positions of the Defense Army, but it was stopped by the Defense Army units as a result of persistent battles, and the adversary fled while suffering considerable losses.

But the fleeing adversary was blocked at a gorge, and the Defense Army forces continued their operation of completely neutralizing the adversary with grenade launcher fire.

Subsequently, adversary troops launched another attack in the same direction, but which was also detected on time and stopped by the Defense Army. The latter’s units pursued the fleeing adversary and neutralized it.

Currently, the operative and tactical situation on this section of the front line is completely under the control of the Artsakh Defense Army.
