Hovhannisyan added that the potential of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces has been seriously crushed, especially the infantry, and now Azerbaijan is relying more on mercenaries to fight on ground with the help of artillery and air forces. “The blitzkrieg failed. Now they are trying to hang on to what they have and move forward, but the pressure is not the same as it was during the first days of the war,” he said.
