The situation created as a result of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war has raised the level of taxpayers' sense of duty, so a higher rate of tax revenues is expected in Armenia. The Minister of Finance, Atom Janjughazyan, said this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Tuesday’s meeting of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.

As per the Minister, according to the draft budget for 2021, the approximate amount of budget revenues will make 1 trillion 569 billion drams, and that of tax revenues—1 trillion 500 billion 900 million drams.
