At least 46 civilians have been killed and 144 others have been injured in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) as a result of the Azerbaijani-Turkish military aggression ever since September 27. Artsakh Human Rights Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan stated about this at a briefing with reporters on Wednesday.

"I say ‘at least’ because we have some information about a number of other cases, especially in the settlements where the Azerbaijani armed forces entered, but since there are hostilities there, we have not been able to find out all the circumstances, so these cases are still are not registered," Beglaryan added.

He noted that some of these attacks were carried out with cluster munitions, which are prohibited under international humanitarian law, especially when used on civilian facilities, as they have quite a widespread range of effects.

According to Artak Beglaryan, as a result of shelling and artillery fire, more than 13,800 private real estate—mainly apartments and houses—, as well as more than 3,100 infrastructures, public and production facilities, and 61 schools and 10 kindergartens were damaged in Artsakh.

And 2,100 cars were damaged, too.
