There are serious suspicions that Azerbaijani servicemen have committed several crimes against civilians in all the settlements that they have invaded and against all the civilians they have found. This is what Human Rights Defender of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Artak Beglaryan said during a briefing today.
“In an interview with an NBC reporter, one of the residents of Togh village having escaped from the village stated that he is aware of an incident during which Azerbaijani servicemen beheaded one of the neighbors of the resident and killed an elderly person (82-year-old Misha Stepanyan). They also beheaded a civilian named Mayor. We’re not presenting these incidents in the statistics yet since we haven’t established certain circumstances,” he stated.
As a result of Azerbaijani aggression, at least 46 civilians have been killed and 144 have been wounded in Artsakh.
