In 2021, AMD 683,877,000 will be allocated from the State Budget of Armenia to ensure the activities of the Constitutional Court, and this is AMD2 23,227,000 less than the budget approved for the year 2020.
“The application for the Constitutional Court’s budget for the year 2021 is composed of two actions, one of which concerns the activities of the Constitutional Court and implementation of constitutional justice, and the other concerns the reserve fund of the Constitutional Court. In regard to the activities of the Constitutional Court, the budget comprises AMD 683,877,000,” newly appointed Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court Samvel Arakelyan said during today’s joint session of the Standing Committees on State and Legal Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.
Out of the funds of the approved budget, 89.3% will be geared towards the provision of salaries.
