YEREVAN. – About 2.8 billion drams will be allocated from the state budget for the needs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The Minister of Finance, Atom Janjughazyan, said this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Thursday’s meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on European Integration.
According to the Minister, these funds will be directed to radical systemic changes. "Besides, additional programs will be implemented. First of all, we will ensure the full independence of our Foreign Ministry, especially of its foreign missions, from any additional funding coming from abroad," Janjughazyan explained.
