YEREVAN. – The solution to the Karabakh conflict is mainly on the battlefield; this is a truth that is obvious to all of us. Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Thursday’s joint meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on European Integration.

"To hope that someone else will fight for our land instead of us is a destructive thinking. We must defend our land and fight for our existence," Kocharyan stressed.

At the same time, the deputy FM noted that the Armenian side should strive to receive maximum support from its neighbors and allies.
