The situation in the battle zone will probably be the same tonight as it was last night. In particular, yesterday artillery was actively used, and the ‘cleansers’ of the sabotage groups continued their work. This is what representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan said during today’s briefing.

“Azerbaijan isn’t able to move forward. There are hardships, but the situation isn’t critical, and the battles aren’t intensive. The forests and gorges in which the enemy’s groups are hiding will become ‘hell’ for them,” he said.

Hovhannisyan addressed a question to Aliyev. “If Azerbaijani troops are seizing Shushi, why does the Armenian side have to find small groups and destroy them?”

Hovhannisyan assumed that the Azerbaijani leadership is trying to place flags in different sites and as soon as possible before the country’s flag day on November 9.

“The entrance into the sector of Lisagor (at the edge of the road leading to Berdzor) is closed for the civilian population since it may be shelled by the adversary or be attacked by saboteurs,” he concluded.
