By the executive order of President of the Constitutional Court of Armenia Arman Dilanyan, Samvel Arakelyan was appointed Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court today, the Staff of the Constitutional Court reported.

Since April 2006, Arakelyan has served as leading specialist, and since 2007 — chief specialist of the Constitutional Court. In October 2016, he was appointed Head of the Legal Consulting Department of the Constitutional Court.

Arakelyan is a Candidate of Legal Sciences.

He is married with two children.
