Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Erdogan have held phone talks and discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, RIA Novosti reported, referring to the Kremlin press service.

The Russian president briefed his Turkish counterpart about a series of phone contacts with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia. These contacts were focused on finding options for early cessation of hostilities and reaching a political and diplomatic settlement. Mutual readiness to interact to achieve a peaceful solution to the conflict was confirmed.
