Fighting is also going on in the south of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and in the direction of Martuni. Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a representative of the Ministry of Defense, on Sunday told this to RFE/RL.

"There are a bit more intense battles—but not at the level of Shushi [town]—also in the direction of Martuni where we launched one or two offensive operations and attacks today; there is stability in that area," Hovhannisyan said.
