On the night of November 8 and 9, the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army units fought defensive battles in the southeastern, southern, and southwestern directions of the front line.

The Artsakh Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am on Monday morning that intensive battles were fought in the Shushi-Karin Tak section against the Azerbaijani army groups, as a result of which the latter, losing a large number of forces, retreated. Armenian troops occupied more favorable positions.

During the aforementioned period, one tank, 4 vehicles, and 8 drones of the adversary forces were neutralized at various directions of the front line.

As a result of the operations in the southwestern part, the Artsakh army units took possession of one adversary tank and artillery means, too.

Throughout the hostilities, the adversary continued to strike with aircraft, missile, and artillery fire at the peaceful settlements of Artsakh.

In the morning, the attempts of the adversary forces to attack resumed in all the main directions of the front line.

The operative and tactical situation, however, is overseen by the Artsakh Defense Army units.
