The Armenian authorities will develop a social-psychological support program for soldiers. This is what Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Zaruhi Batoyan said during today’s joint session of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport of the National Assembly, adding that there are no new programs and events.
“The social-psychological support program will be developed through the efforts of the inter-agency commission. It will include both short-term and long-term social-psychological support (employment and financial or medical assistance). The Ministry of Health will cover the medical expenses. As for prostheses, the funds for which are provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, additional funds will be procured in case of need,” Batoyan said.
