Mario Kranjac, the mayor of the borough of Englewood Cliffs of the US State of New Jersey, has issued a proclamation condemning Azerbaijan's military attacks on civilians in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the latter’s foreign ministry informed on Facebook.

As per this proclamation, Kranjac states that he supports a peaceful and fair resolution of the Karabakh conflict; condemns attacks by Azerbaijan against civilians in Artsakh; condemns the involvement of outsiders in recruiting and transporting armed combatants into Artsakh; and recognizes Artsakh's right to self-determination and independence, and urges the US President and Congress to do the same.
