We pray for the guardians of our historic fortress city of Shushi [in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)], Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on Monday wrote on Facebook.

"Asking Almighty God to keep strong the power of the Armenian arm—for the sake of victory and lasting peace," the Catholicos added, posting a photo as well.
