President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte.

The interlocutors touched upon the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the document signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan which concern complete cessation of all hostilities in the conflict zone.

Once again, President Sarkissian emphasized that the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is an issue of pan-Armenian importance that can ultimately be resolved on the basis of pan-national consensus.
