Twelve Il-76 planes with Russian peacekeepers have landed in Armenia, RIA Novosti reported, citing the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

“Currently, a total of twelve Il-76 military transport aircrafts with officers of the command of the peacekeeping forces of Russia and servicemen of the 15th peacekeeping brigade have landed in the Republic of Armenia,” the statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense reads. It is also stated that the military transport aircrafts have transported over 200 servicemen, armored personnel carriers, armored vehicles and communication means.
