Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu held telephone talks with Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, the Russian Defense Ministry reported in a statement.
"The defense ministers of Russia and Turkey discussed the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)] conflict, and exchanged views on stabilizing the situation in Syria," the Russian Defense Ministry added.
