According to Analitik.am, at this moment, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan is the one issuing orders to detain members of the political opposition at the National Security Service since the director of the National Security Service is at the cardiology unit of Nork-Marash Medical Center. Avinyan has the list of people to be detained and is issuing orders. Several politicians have already been detained, including the entire elite of the political opposition (members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party, Homeland Party and other opposition parties). According to Analitik.am’s source, deputies of the Prosperous Armenia Party will also be detained tonight.

Analitik.am’s sources report that an attempt is being made to launch a phony criminal case under the elements of coup d’état with which the members of the political opposition will be charged.
