A short while ago, 20 citizens were apprehended at Freedom Square in Yerevan, the news service of the Police of Armenia reported to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

A record has been drawn up against citizens based on Article 182.5 of the Administrative Offenses Code (violating existing rules during the legal regime of martial law).

When the small rally following the march with the demand for Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation had ended at Freedom Square, police officers had forcefully apprehended citizens who were getting ready to go home.

The police officers were announcing with a loudspeaker that the rally was illegal and that the citizens had to leave the premises, otherwise coercive measures would be taken.
