Armenia has established a procedure according to which all problems with accommodation for citizens having moved from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) are solved through the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia. This is what coordinator of the operational headquarters of the Government of Artsakh in Armenia Mikayel Virabyan stated during today’s press conference.

“The ministry has a hotline. Both sides obviously have their problems. I call on citizens of Artsakh to not be guided by the principle that they must be accommodated in Yerevan,” he said.

According to Virabyan, citizens of Artsakh have been accommodated in hotels and guest houses and there are people who have hosted the citizens. Virabyan added that he has been told that the government will cover the expenses for utilities of citizens of Artsakh living in hotels and that the government will take a decision in regard to citizens who have hosted people from Artsakh.
