Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov today held phone talks wth Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and discussed implementation of the provisions stated in the joint statement on complete cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh signed by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, TASS reported.

“The parties discussed issues related to practical implementation of the provisions stated in the joint statement by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. Special attention was paid to the complicated humanitarian situation in the region and the solution to the problems with that,” the press release of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads.
