We Armenians are living in a very difficult period, this is our burden, and we need to bear it as a nation. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with Armenian Public Television after being told that most citizens of Armenia say perhaps there is a need for snap parliamentary elections since this defeat was recorded during Pashinyan’s administration.

“We need to think about our future. We need to envision our future and the future of Nagorno-Karabakh. We need to make it clear that the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh must return to their homes. This doesn’t mean the struggle for Nagorno-Karabakh has ended. It would be nice if there was a final settlement, but unfortunately, there is no final settlement. We will continue to fight for Nagorno-Karabakh and the right of its people. For that, the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh have to go and live in their homes. The Armenian government will hold a session devoted to infrastructures today. There have to be investments.”

Pashinyan left the question about the public’s demand for snap parliamentary elections unanswered.
