In response to Facebook user Mikayel Minasyan's post that the Armenian side allegedly had 4,750 casualties during the last Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] war, we report that the information presented in that post is a blatant lie. Alina Nikoghosyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health of Armenia, on Saturday wrote this on Facebook.

"To date, our forensic medical service has examined the corpses of 2,317 fallen servicemen, among whom there are unrecognized ones, too.

The process of exchanging the corpses of the fallen servicemen left at the adversary has just begun, and the conflicting parties cannot know the final number at this time, as long as these actions are in progress," Nikoghosyan added in particular.
