The Russian Ministry of Defense has published an infographic on the situation in the area of the Russian peacekeeping operation being conducted in and around Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

This infographic was published as of Saturday at 11:30am.

The aforesaid peacekeeping operation is carried out in the "North" and "South" areas of duty. The "North" includes the areas adjacent to the capital Stepanakert as well as Aghdam and Lachin settlements, whereas the "South"—the northern parts of Terter and Aghdam regions, and Mardakert.

Also, Russian peacekeepers have set up 12 observation posts in Artsakh, and the situation is monitored around the clock.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday night signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities in and around Artsakh. Accordingly, Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in the region to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities. But this statement also stipulates the handover of part of Artsakh lands to Azerbaijan.
