This morning I spoke with the President of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)], and I can say that the return of the population to Artsakh is recording a quite high pace. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this Monday at the special session of the National Assembly of Armenia—and responding to the MPs' questions.

"Of course, within the bar we have, the number of returnees every day has already exceeded a thousand over the past week. The pace is growing. People should be helped to return to Artsakh. Those whose houses are damaged must be restored, the economy must start working [again]. This is the most important thing to do that the government should focus on. Today, perhaps, the road through the Lachin corridor to [the Artsakh capital] Stepanakert will be opened [again], and it will operate without interruption in order to have free communication," Pashinyan added.
