An operative team from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on Monday arrived in [the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) capital] Stepanakert to provide assistance to the local population, TASS reports.
The group consists of 30 rescuers, representatives from the central office of the aforesaid ministry, rescuers from the center for conducting special dangerous rescue operations, liaisons, and some others. They have brought with them necessary equipment and a field camp.
The matter of increasing the number of members of this team will be discussed on the spot—and on the account of 150 rescuers and a mobile hospital—who are ready to fly from Moscow.
