Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Dear Armenians of Artsakh,

I recently assigned the government to present the plan to solve the social issues of the Armenians who have moved from Artsakh to Armenia.  According to the decision that the government adopted today, one-time financial assistance will be provided to the Armenians of Artsakh who were displaced as a result of the war and are de facto in the Republic of Armenia and are record-registered in Artsakh.

Each person who has moved from Artsakh to Armenia will receive financial assistance in the amount of AMD 68,000. Children will also receive assistance, if the parent or one of the parents is considered a beneficiary of the program.

If the citizen doesn’t have real estate in Armenia, additional assistance in the amount of AMD 15,000 will be provided.

Assistance will also be provided, if the citizen has already returned to Artsakh.

Applications for assistance will be accepted starting from November 23. The application can be filled out electronically. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia will present the procedure for provision of assistance and the details in the days to come.

Dear Armenians of Artsakh, I assure you that the governments of Armenia and Artsakh will do everything they can to ensure your safety in the future and to get Artsakh back on its feet.

The social support programs will continue in Artsakh.”
