Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday said it is strange to hear the US Department of State’s statement that the details of the agreement on Nagorno-Karabakh need to be provided to the US Department of State since the details have been provided via diplomatic channels, TASS reported.

Earlier, a top official of the US Department of State had declared that the US and France are waiting for details about Turkey’s role in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Lavrov assured that the US had been informed about everything at the level of the US Deputy Secretary of State, taking into consideration the fact that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is currently on visits abroad. Besides, Russia had been closely cooperating with the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group from the very beginning, including with the US.

According to Lavrov, the Presidents of Russia and France have discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict “more thoroughly” over the past ten days, and he has talked about it for nearly an hour with his French counterpart.
