President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin says the agreements on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict are observed and that this creates conditions for a settlement of the conflict on fair ground.
“It is important for the agreements (recorded in the trilateral statement by the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia) are observed. The fighting has been completely ceased, the situation is becoming stable,” he said in a speech at the summit of BRICS.
Putin also said conditions have been created for a long-term and full-format settlement of the crisis that will benefit the Azerbaijani and Armenian peoples. He reminded that the Russian party has made the most active efforts to stop the fighting between its two friendly nations and encourage them to make mutual concessions.
