Since November 14, more than 1,200 refugees have returned to Stepanakert after having left their homes due to the fighting in Nagonro-Karabakh. This is what Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Igor Konashenkov said during today’s briefing, TASS reported.

“On November 16, 482 refugees returned to Nagorno-Karabakh from Armenia. Since November 14, 1,207 residents have already returned to Stepanakert after having left their homes due to the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh. The safe movement of columns was under the control of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the military police,” he said, adding that Russian sappers have demined the entire Lachin corridor and the road to Stepanakert.
