On Tuesday, until late in the evening, the search for the missing and the retrieval of the bodies of the casualties continued—with the assistance of the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and of the Russian peacekeeping contingent—in the directions of Martuni and Shushi of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the search operations at the sites of the recent hostilities continue, and they encompass new and more comprehensive areas.

On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities in and around Artsakh. Accordingly, Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in the region to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities. But this statement also stipulates the handover of part of Artsakh lands to Azerbaijan.
