Director of the State Service for Emergency Situations of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Major General Karen Sargsyan today held a working consultation with officials of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the Minister of Urban Development of Artsakh and a representative of the Human Rights Defender and discussed a broad range of issues related to future construction and the restoration of infrastructures in peaceful settlements.

Sargsyan attached importance to the efforts being made for rapid renovation of the settlements devastated by shelling and the concern and consistent efforts of the Russian Federation in this regard, as well as the country’s material assistance.

Director of the Department for Rescue Squads at the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant General Igor Kutrovsky proposed to set up an inter-agency commission, the members of which will tour all settlements and inventorize all the damages on the spot.
