Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan Mikhail Mishustin and Ali Asadov discussed the prospects for development of railway infrastructures in the South Caucasus during their telephone conversation.

The press service of the Government of the Russian Federation reported that “there was an exchange of views on the prospects for development of railway infrastructures, taking into consideration the decisions on the regulation of transport relations in the South Caucasus.”

During the talks, the parties discussed current issues on the development of trade and economic cooperation, paying special attention to the implementation of joint programs in the areas of industry, agricultural equipment, the drug industry and other areas.
