No Armenian in the world can support Nikol Pashinyan. This is what former director of the National Security Service of Armenia, leader of Homeland Party Artur Vanetsyan told Russian reporters today.
Vanetsyan added that the Special Investigation Service summoned him today, but he managed to leave the Service before the opposition’s rally began. Asked if there is a criminal case launched against him, Vanetsyan said there are several criminal cases. “The government, I don’t even want to refer to this government as a government, is dealing with political persecutions instead of dealing with the return of all prisoners of war or searching for servicemen missing in action,” he said.
In regard to the rally in support of Nikol Pashinyan at Republic Square in Yerevan, Vanetsyan emphasized the following: “The opposition isn’t splitting the people into the government’s supporters and opponents. However, according to the information that we have been receiving over the past few days, the people “supporting” Nikol Pashinyan are supporting him for money and certain services. No Armenian in the world will support Nikol Pashinyan, who handed over our lands to the Turks and Azerbaijanis through trickery and poor management.”
