Germany welcomes the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh, but the conflict remains unresolved. This is stated in the statement by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany Heiko Maas on the transfer of the chairmanship in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe from Greece to Germany for six months, TASS reported.

“We welcome the ceasefire, but this doesn’t resolve the initial conflict. In this regard, we urge the parties to work on a long-term political solution within the scope of the OSCE Minsk Group,” Maas said.
