The governments of Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) have set up a joint task force for counteraction to the humanitarian disaster caused in Artsakh as a result of the Azerbaijani-Turkish-terrorist aggression and war unleashed on September 27, 2020, as well as for restoration of civilian infrastructures and normal life and the safe and dignified return of displaced persons.

The decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia states that the task force will carry out its activities in the following sectors: society, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship and infrastructures.

The head of the task force is Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, and among the members are several top officials from Armenia and Artsakh, including State Minister of Artsakh Grigory Martirosyan.
