Minister of Defense of Armenia Davit Tonoyan today had a meeting with the family members of Armenian servicemen who fought in the war in Artsakh and are still missing in action.
The defense minister told the servicemen’s relatives that the search efforts continue at the sites where the hostilities took place and that the representatives of the Armed Forces are collecting data along with the relevant institutions.
Tonoyan also informed the relatives that representatives of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the International Committee of the Red Cross are actively involved in the search efforts and are supported by the State Service for Emergency Situations of Artsakh.
Touching upon the leaves for servicemen who continue to serve in Artsakh, the defense minister emphasized that leaves will be granted in December when the defense and protection of the borders of Artsakh will be clarified once and for all.
