YEREVAN. – As in the days of war, the Armed Forces servicemen, reservists, and those who volunteered for the defense of the homeland continue to carry out—with vigilance and responsibility—their assigned functions in combat positions, the reported the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
The Armed Forces clergymen are also with them, and they strengthen—with their words and blessings—the will of these defenders of the homeland and their love for the homeland, the Ministry added.
On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities in and around Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Accordingly, Russian peacekeepers will be deployed in the region to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities. But this statement also stipulates the handover of part of Artsakh lands to Azerbaijan.
