Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan overthrew the constitutional order of Armenia with his anti-constitutional actions, the last step towards which was the signing of a joint statement by the Prime Minister of Armenia, the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan without clarifying the opinion of the relevant authorities of Armenia, the National Assembly of Armenia and the Constitutional Court, the statement was made by the former member of the Constitutional Court Kim Balayan.
Over the past six days, thousands of citizens, public and political figures, through their visits, meetings, and public statements, expressed support for the above demands, at the same time calling for an end to the extreme measure of continuing the hunger strike, offering to continue the struggle in other ways.
"I took this step to protect the results of the struggle, sacrifices, and victories of tens of thousands of sons of our people over thirty years," he said. "Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan failed to rule the country, resulting in the current tragic defeat."
"Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan overthrew the Armenian Constitutional system with his anti-constitutional actions, the last step towards which was the signing of a joint statement," he added. "All of this must be given a legal assessment, for which it is vital to form a team to prepare the collection of facts and a comprehensive opinion."
"It is necessary to apply to the Constitutional Court to invalidate the joint statement of the three countries, for excluding the cease-fire clause, since its implementation contradicts the legislative clauses of the Armenian Constitution when an international agreement is signed without ratification."
