YEREVAN. – Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) former Defense Minister and Defense Army Commander, Hero of Artsakh Jalal Harutyunyan is in normal health condition. Gevorg Altunyan, head of the information and public relations department at the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, said this in a conversation with Armenpress.

"Jalal Harutyunyan will be discharged from the hospital within 2-3 days and will continue his outpatient treatment," Altunyan said.

Harutyunyan was wounded in a combat position during the recent Artsakh war, and for that reason he was dismissed—on October 27—from the post of Artsakh Defense Minister and Defense Army Commander. He was replaced by Mikayel Arzumanyan.
