A group of people staged a protest Sunday at the courtyard of the house of Arusyak Julhakyan, an MP from ruling My Step bloc of Armenia, and her neighbors greeted these demonstrators with applause, reported the Telegram channel of Mediaport.

Citizens have started a series of protests at the courtyards of the houses of the My Step lawmakers, accusing them of participating in the handover of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and not opposing the capitulation document signed by PM Nikol Pashinyan, Mediaport added.

On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on a complete cessation of hostilities— which Azerbaijan had launched on September 27—in and around Artsakh. Accordingly, Russian peacekeepers are deployed in the region to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire and the cessation of hostilities. But this statement also stipulates the handover of part of Artsakh lands to Azerbaijan.
