Over 70% of Russians are interested in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

According to the data of the Russian Public Opinion Research Center presented on Monday to TASS, the poll took place on September 30 and November 13, and included 1.6 thousand respondents aged 18 and over.

A total of 72% of Russians follow the events in Nagorno-Karabakh, 26% of respondents are not at all interested in events in the region.

When asked who provoked the aggravation of the conflict, 33% of Russians answered that both sides, while 36% found it difficult to answer, 5% believe that Armenia, 12% - Azerbaijan, 6% - the US, 5% - Turkey.

41% of Russians think that both countries received benefits from the conclusion of the peace agreement.

39% of Russians believe that in the future the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh will develop peacefully, and there will be no more war. Every tenth respondent (12%) predicts a resumption of hostilities in the near future, while 31% thinks that there will be war, but not soon.
