Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the city of Gyumri and paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the 1988 earthquake, his spokesperson Mane Gevorgyan wrote on her Facebook.

Pashinyan takes part in the ceremony of laying a wreath at the monument to the victims of the earthquake, the local TV company Gala reported.

The central streets of the city were closed, while the ceremony was attended by representatives of city and regional authorities.

He also visited Spitak, Vanadzor, and Nalband village.
