The Kremlin hopes for the soon release of Russian journalists in Turkey, TASS reported referring to presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
"Our diplomats are in contact with the Turkish side. We hope the incident will be resolved through dialogue," he said. "We will take all possible measures to assist the detained Russian journalists."
The spokesperson added that they are studying the circumstances and reasons for the detention.
